Synopsis (To be updated)

It takes place in late 16th-century Joseon, and will be based on the life of a real historical figure — ceramic artist Baek Pa-sun, who was the first female potter in Joseon. In the Japanese invasions starting in 1592, communities of potters (among other artisans and craftsmen) were forcibly relocated to Japan in an ongoing war of cultural capital. Baek Pa-sun was among those who were uprooted and forced to continue their craft for the Japanese.

MBC released the script reading pictures for their newest period drama about potter Yoo Jeong (Moon Geun Young). The script reading was held at the end of April 2013 at MBC’s Ilsan Dream Center.

Scriptwriter Kwon Soon Gyu and PD Park Sung Soo as well as the actors such as Moon Geun Young, Lee Sang Yoon, Jeon Kwang Ryeol, Byun Hee Bong, Jung Bo Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, talented child actors Park Gun Tae & Jin Ji Hee attended the script reading to familiarize themselves with their characters.

This period drama will aired in July 2013, it follows Gu Family Book.
