2015 MBC Drama Awards – Winners List

MBC opens end-of-year annual drama awards tonight, hosted by Shin Dong Yup and Lee Sung Kyung. Like last year, they announced the nominees for the grand prize award at the start of the ceremony, giving viewers plenty of time to vote the most deserving winner by text message. This year's daesang nominees are: Kim Jung Eun, Kim Hee Sun, Jeon In Hwa, Ji Sung, Cha Seung Won and Hwang Jung Eum.





Kill Me Heal Me, She Was Pretty, My Daughter Geum Sa Wol, Mom are the big winners tonight - sweeping the awards in most categories. Ji Sung who flawlessly acted 7 different characters received the most viewers' votes to be crowned this year's Daesang winner. He took home a total of 4 awards tonight including the most shocking "bromance" best couple award with Park Seo Joon who also received 4 awards. Their co-star Hwang Jung Eum also got four awards including PD award.

Best Couple Nominations for KBS, SBS & MBC Drama Awards 2012

KBS & SBS have released Best Couple Nominees for 2012 Drama Awards. And MBC has finally released Best Couple Nominees for their year-end drama awards.

 I had a little giggle when I saw two male couples (Joo Won & Park Ki Woong [Gaksital] and So Ji Sub & Kwak Do Won [Ghost]) on the list; it's about time Drama Awards have "bromance award". But why I got a gut feeling that Joo Won & Park Ki Woong may win Best Couple Award like Song Joong Ki & Yoo Ah In in 2009? I couldn't feel the chemistry between Joo Won & Jin Se Yeon; I was torn between Kang To & Shunji bromance as well as Shunji & Rara storyline. And one of the reason why I love Gaksital is because of Kang To & Shunji bromance; very bittersweet.

MBC definitely saved the best for last; their Best Couple nominees are all daebak. There will definitely a very fierce competition for MBC Drama Awards; so fans, vote vote vote for your favorite OTP / STP of the year.
